Direct train facility started from Himachal to Prayagraj

Information and Broadcasting Minister and Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Anurag Singh Thakur has informed that devotees going from Himachal Pradesh to Prayagraj will now be able to reach Sangam city Prayag directly. This is because the Railways has approved extending the Indore-Chandigarh Express to Una, Himachal Pradesh. He said, I am always committed to the development of Devbhoomi and better connectivity here. The city of Sangam, Prayagraj, is a major religious place and a large number of people from Himachal make pilgrimage there.

However, passengers faced difficulties due to lack of direct train connectivity from Himachal to Prayagraj. He said, “Train number 19307/08, Indore-Chandigarh Express will depart from Indore at 5:30 am and reach Una at 8:35 am the next morning. Similarly, it will depart from Una at 1:50 pm.” afternoon and will reach Indore at 3:05 pm the next day.

He said that the Railway Minister has now approved the extension of Indore-Chandigarh Express, which used to run twice a week, to Una. This train will now run from Una to Indore, which will provide great transportation facilities to the passengers. For this, I express my gratitude to respected Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji and Railway Minister Shri Ashwani Vaishnav ji.
